How long will it take to get better?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. It depends on your injury, your goals, your lifestyle, and your starting point.
Some people feel better in a few weeks, others take longer. What matters most is that we’re moving in the right
direction together. Think progress, not perfection.
How often should I do my exercises?
Your rehab plan is built to match your capacity. Some weeks might need more rest, others more training. It’s not
about smashing yourself every day — it’s about building consistency over time. We’ll always adjust the plan
based on how you’re responding.
Should I stop if it hurts?
Not necessarily. A little discomfort doesn’t mean damage — but sharp, intense, or worsening pain might be a sign
to back off. We’ll help you understand the difference so you feel more in control.
Do I need to do these exercises forever?
No, but some form of movement is usually part of the long-term plan. As your body improves, your program will
evolve. The goal isn’t to rehab forever — it’s to return you to the things you enjoy, safely and confidently.
Will hands-on treatment fix my issue faster?
Hands-on treatment (like massage, joint mobilisations or dry needling) can provide relief and support your
recovery. But long-term change happens when we combine it with active rehab. Movement retrains your system
in ways passive treatment can’t.
Can I keep going to the gym or playing sport during rehab?
Often yes, with the right modifications. Avoiding movement entirely can delay progress. We’ll help you stay
active in ways that are safe and productive for your recovery.
What if I’ve tried physio before and it didn’t help?
Not all rehab is the same. Maybe you didn’t get the right plan, enough guidance, or a clear understanding of what
was actually happening. We focus on education, individualised care, and collaboration.
Is it normal to feel like I’m going backwards some weeks?
Yes and it doesn’t mean you’ve failed. Setbacks are part of the process. Our role is to help you understand
why they happen and how to respond, so they don’t derail you. It’s all part of building resilience.
Rehab isn’t a quick fix. It’s a learning process, about your body, your habits, and your mindset. We’re here to
guide you through every step.
