Dietician

About Me

Hi, I’m Gabby, a Dietitian at GRIT Physio. I work with people living with chronic conditions and disabilities to help them build healthier habits that actually stick. My approach is practical, supportive, and focused on helping each person find what works for them, not just what sounds good on paper.

I’ve worked across hospital and community settings, and I know how overwhelming nutrition can feel when you’re managing a health condition or trying to make sense of too much information. That’s why I keep things simple, collaborative, and realistic, so we’re always working toward something you can actually sustain.

What I specialise in

  • Chronic condition management (e.g. diabetes, heart disease)
  • Disability nutrition and NDIS support
  • Translating complex dietary needs into simple, sustainable plans
  • Building confidence in food choices and eating habits
  • Person-centred care that respects culture, preferences, and priorities
  • Health coaching and realistic behaviour change strategies

Highlights of my career

I’ve supported clients through both Northern Health and EACH, providing evidence-based nutrition advice in hospital and community settings. I work closely with people who are managing long-term health conditions or navigating the NDIS, and I take pride in giving clear, relevant guidance that feels achievable and respectful of each person’s life circumstances.

What matters most to me is making sure people feel heard, supported, and empowered, not overwhelmed. Whether it’s reading labels, planning meals, or making small changes over time, I’m here to help make nutrition feel doable and confidence-building.

Outside of Work

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, spending time with friends and family, and making the most of the weekends. I bring the same energy into my work: steady, supportive, and focused on helping people feel better, physically and mentally.
